Silicone ink PET films:

To choose matte coating PET films

Mesh number 120-200 , Mesh(screen film )thickness 0.1-0.2MM,it is depends on printing Artworks.

Squeegee:65-80 degree .

1 Printing tips:Hot melt glue XG-360R-2X print for 4-6 times

When printing glue to use cyclohexanone to liquid the glue,mixing ratio 10%.This type of glue easy to be thick and mesh printing.

  Flash by room temp or by 100-120 degree.

2 Mid layer crossing linker printing for 2 times:

Crossing linker      XG-360Z-2     50G

 Crossing linker agent  XG-360ZB      3G   6%

Flash by 100 to120 degree.

3 Silicone ink clear layer printing 2 -4 layers:

  Silicone ink     XG-866A-2Y       100G

  Catalyst     XG-866B-2           2-5 G  2-5% Thinner         XG-128AH          10-20G    10-20%

Hot melt glue with solvent chemicals so will get silicone ink not easy or can not dry ,so for first 2 times clear silicone have to mix with 5% catalyst.More catalyst can get silicone dry fast also the print time will be short,so have to mix small quantity silicone with catalyst to get no waste.After two layers clear silicone if need to print more times then 2% catalyst is ok.

Flash by 100 to120 degree.

if needed for high density stickers,if need more high density then print more times clear.

4 Silicone ink color layer printing for 3-4 layers  :

Silicone ink     XG-866A-2Y       100G

Pigments or special powders       10-20G  (10-20% white&fluorescent 15-20% other colors 10%)

  Catalyst     XG-866B-2           2G   2%

Thinner         XG-128AH          10-20G    10-20%

5 Glossy silicone for top printing or brush effect printing

5A. Glossy silicone for top coating printing:

Glossy silicone ink     XG-399-3       100G

  Catalyst     XG-866B-2               2G   2%

Thinner         XG-128AH            0-10G    0-10%

Thinner is not necessary for glossy silicone printing.To print very soft to get in drop though the mesh and pull up the screen to get round and glossy effect.The angel between squeegee and screen is 60-70 degree not as normal printing 90 degree.

Flash by 100 to120 degree.

5B: Silicone brush printing:

Round silicone        XG-866A-2Y        200G

Color pigments        XG-series          20-40G white and flouescent color 20% others 10%

(If need color brush effect)

Fast dry catalyst        XG-866B-2       4G  2% 

Thinner            XG-128AH           40-60G  20-30% Cure by temp of 120℃ 6-15 seconds.

Tips for silicone brush printing:

  1. After 3 times brush printing should add 10-20% more thinner
  2. Very liquid silicone full coating on the screen.
  3. 60-70 degree angel between squeegee and printing screen.
  4. Printing very soft to get in drop though the mesh and pull up the screen to get high density.

6 After finish, put into the oven to bake by 100-120 degree for 40 minutes to 1 hour.

 7 Heat press the stick on the heat transfer press machine by the temp of 160-170 degree for 10-16 seconds with pressure of 4KG.
