How to Use XG Elastic Silicone for ribbon screen printing?
Preparation:
- Mesh&Squeegee: 120(48T) Mesh number; 65-75 degree Squeegee.
- Pigments added ratio: For white and fluorescent color 20%,other color 10%
- Catalyst mixing ratio:10% slow dry XG-MB-1 Mid dry XG-ZB-1
- Silicone thinner XG-128A adding ratio:0-20%
- Heating Temp and time: cure temp :80℃,100℃,120℃ or dry by room temp.
Silicone ink printing tips:
1 Elastic silicone ink clear printing for 2-6 times :
Elastic Silicone XG-130A 50G 50%
Elastic Silicone XG-130B 50G 50%
Silicone thinner XG-128AH 10G 10%
Cure by 80℃,100℃,120℃ or dry by room temp If need fast dry then can mix with catalyst XG-866B-2 1-2%
2 Color effect silicone printing for 3-4 times:
Elastic Silicone XG-130A 50G 50%
Elastic Silicone XG-130B 50G 50%
Silicone pigments XG-501 10G 10%
Silicone thinner XG-128AH 10G 10%
Cure by 80℃,100℃,120℃ or dry by room temp If need fast dry then can mix with catalyst XG-866B-2 1-2%.
3 Glossy silicone ink for top coating:
Glossy top coating for 2 times wet on wet printing:
Glossy silicone ink XG-399-2 100G
Slow dry catalyst XG-MB-1 10G 2%
Silicone thinner XG-128AH 0-10G 0-10% Have to get silicone bubbles out first ,try to use code wind to support and it will be better to use low temp by longer heating time to avoid bubbles problem.
Cure by 80℃,100℃,120℃ or dry by room temp After printing finish, to heat by 100℃- 120℃ for about 2 minutes or room temp for over 24 hours.
